AEI was awarded a $10M contract to complete an interior renovation and infrastructure repairs/upgrades for the historic Hangar 3 and 5 at Joint Base Pearl Harbor (JBPHH) in Hawaii.
The project required demolition of existing infrastructure and installation of new systems while ensuring no disruption to real-time operations. Despite significant construction sequencing constraints, we successfully optimized the operations floor for the USAF 692 Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Group, which processes and disseminates ISR products, and completed all necessary backboard, fire-stopping, and seismic bracing installations on time.
As a result, Hanger 5 is now equipped to house major missions and continue to serve as an important National Security Agency/Central Security Service-Hawaii component.
